Following Summer Session I, students go home for a week. When they return to the program, they go on a small-group 2-3-night vacation. These vacations are created in their Community Exploration and Recreation Planning class. Following their vacation, students attend day trips and begin the process of packing up their bedrooms and moving into their new bedrooms and/or houses.

Trips and experiences our students have enjoyed include:
  • Cooperstown
  • Mini-golf and go-karts
  • Lake George
  • Howe Caverns
  • Art museums
  • Whitewater rafting
  • Horseback riding
  • Waterparks and theme parks
