Thiers Memorial Fly-In and Car Show

This is the sixth year that the RPI Flying Club is hosting, in partnership with Capital Car Shows, the Thiers Memorial Fly-in and Car Show. The event will feature a wide variety of exhibitions including classic cars, helicopters, and military aircraft. However, the importance of the event is much more then to raise money; it is to support the future of aviation. The Thiers Memorial Fund provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in aviation. All donations from this event will be directly deposited into the fund.
Fly it in or drive it in to the Schenectady County’s Air Museum.
Awarding 25 Eagle Trophies and custom built Award of Excellence trophies. Planes include the Air National Guard’s C-130, helicopter rides, and open cockpits (for picture taking) at the Schenectady Air museum. Reduced admission for the Air Museum. All cars and planes welcome! Dash plaques and Goody Bags to the first 150 entries!
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
