Bring the whole family to Kings-Ransom Farm on Sunday, June 18, 2017 for Sundae on the Farm! There will be free tours of the dairy farm, a farmers’ market, food demos by local chefs, horse drawn wagon rides, live music, kids’ activities, and much more.
Sundae on the Farm is fun, free, and educational for the entire family. It takes place from 12:00 pm through 4:00 pm and is enjoyed by approximately 3,800 visitors each year.
Kings-Ransom Farm and King Brothers Dairy invite you, your family, and friends to visit their farm to learn about today’s farming practices. Recognized as a Century Farm and Dairy of Distinction, the family celebrates 115 years of continuous farming this year.
In 2016, they began bottling and marketing their own milk products under the King Brothers Dairy name. This year’s tour offers you the opportunity to view the cycle of agriculture from field to cow to milk for sale in the store. Owners Jan and Jeff King and their families along with their parents Edgar and Carolyn look forward to your visit!
Sundae on the Farm 2017 is coordinated by the Saratoga County Agricultural Promotion Committee and sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County, Saratoga Co. Farm Bureau and the Town of Northumberland with support from the Saratoga County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board.
What comes after graduation? Many College Experience students, in fact most, choose to remain in Albany. They maintain friendships with their fellow and former graduates, form romantic partnerships, and some get married.
