Our Staff
Jen :: Director
Jen graduated from Keene State College in 2000 with an Associates degree in Human Services and a Bachelors degree in Sociology. She has been employed with Living Resources for eight years and has had the opportunity to have a variety of roles during that time. In 2007 she became the Director of The College Experience Program. In 2010, Jen was promoted to the role of Director of Program Services for Living Resources.
Dorothy :: Recruiter
Dorothy has been with the CEP since August 2007 and in September 2010 became the CEP Recruiter. Dorothy provides outreach to students, families and professionals to inform them about the program and other transition options for young adults. She also manages and provides the print and web publications for the CEP. Dorothy earned her BA in Elementary Education from Flagler College.
Colleen :: QMRP
Colleen became the QMRP for the College Experience Program in May 2010. In this role, she is responsible for writing the day habilitation plans, attending individualized service plan meetings and teaching field work classes. She graduated from Oneonta State University with her bachelors in childhood education. Currently, she is working towards her Masters of Science at Dominican College for students with severe and multiple disabilities. Previously, she worked at a local Capital Region elementary school in a behavioral program.
Joy :: Community Coordinator
Joy has been working for the CEP since September 2007. As the Community Coordinator she helps each student become involved and feel connected with the St. Rose community and in their local community. Joy teaches fieldwork classes and assists students in completing their homework. She received her BA in psychology from Houghton College.
Maggie :: Academic Coordinator
Maggie has been the Academic Coordinator of the CEP since August of 2007. Serving as the liaison between Living Resources and the College of Saint Rose, Maggie hand selects adjunct professors to teach for the CEP and enjoys teaching CEP classes. She works closely with students and staff on finding ways to improve and expand the academic portion of the program. In addition, Maggie takes part in recruiting and informing educators and families about the program. She earned her MS in Education from the College of Saint Rose.
Kevin :: Residential Coordinator
Kevin has been the Residential Coordinator for the College Experience Program since 2008. His tasks include writing the residential plans of service for the students and managing the house staff. He has been employed with Living Resources since 2005. Previously Kevin spent 15 years in the radio business, both on-air and in management at Albany radio stations WPYX and WRCZ. In 1990, he graduated from SUNY Albany.
